J. Roddy Walston is a force of nature. If his hits like Heavy Bells is are a war cry, then the deep cuts like Boys Can Never Tell are a tac@cal cosmic retreat. For some, his music is a form of religion, psychedelic in its intensity, transforma@ve in its grip on the body, shaking loose something primal that’s been buried too long. It’s not about thinking, It’s about moving, feeling, surrendering. His influences are a riot of contradic@ons: Kurt Cobain’s fury, Nilsson’s fractured sweetness, Zeppelin’s power, and somewhere in there a perverted nod to William Onyeabor’s lonely calculator funk. Cri@cs try to box him in, but Walston can’t be contained—he does chaos, and his live shows do damage, but fortunately his songs can pay the tab. Vanna Pacella

Vanna Pacella will be opening the show. An ethereal Rock Band based out of Cape Cod, MA. The musical project of Singer, Songwriter, Keyboardist, Synth Bassist and Front Woman- Vanna Pacella. Vanna Pacella and her band - 2025 Boston Music Awards - “ New Act of the Year”. Vanna is a precise and promising mixture of “seasoned pro” and “up and comer” to the music scene, specializing in, but not limited to, keyboards, piano, and vocals. She is obsessed with playing music, doing so every chance she gets. Vanna is a live musician at heart, performing live shows multiple times weekly. Her shows have taken her from Provincetown to Providence, RI, and all over New England and beyond. The infectious energy in each performance allows her to always make real connections with her audiences. Her musical endeavors have taken her to play venues as big as Patriot Place at Gillette Stadium, and as small as her hometown nursing home.
