Morrissey Blvd is a band that believes in the power of music as a common language, and in harnessing that power for social change. This is a band that believes music can change the world. New Bedford siblings Zan, Henri, and Wilson Morrissey came together while jamming during a school break. In just a few years, they’ve become a high-energy force on the SouthCoast music scene. Along the way, they’ve probably done almost as many charity concerts as they have gigs for themselves. They’ve rocked benefit concerts for immigration assistance, suicide prevention, and muscular dystrophy and to benefit the SouthCoast Cancer Center, among other causes. Theirs is a story of how siblings communicate and bond through music. And it’s the story of how young people today still harness the power of music for social change.
